WINTER COATS, PART TROIS

YET MORE WINTER COATS
LARA MILLER
Lara Miller is a intelligent designer. Her sustainable clothing is often designed to be two outfits in one. that coat is not only a coat– it is additionally a jacket, depending on what you feel like calling it, and whether or not you decide to add a sweater underneath, and/or a scarf and gloves. I even have a giant sweaterdress/sweater from her that I could probably wear as a coat, it is so thick and warm! But I love coats, so I’m not going to do that, and miss an opportunity to wear a cool winter coat whilst still living in LA.
This Ryan coat is poor ass. Seriously. And the Hogan jacket, which is pretty much just a shorter version, is only slightly less poor ass.

I just discovered that designer, and I’m glad I did, considering her stuff is rad. RAD, I say. The coats with the golden pockets are very retro and cute. And in these harsh financial times, surely a golden pocket is with it’s weight in… eco-friendly gold fabric?

REBE
Rebe makes a whole line of coats from recycled fleece. Her stuff is very “Anthropologie,” with an eco-edge. And her coats are truly comfortable and have that flattering fit-and-flare design.
