We have a Way Basics Giveaway Winner!

There is a reason I love giveaways, particularly ones that are interactive: They allow both me and my readers a chance to figure out how all that green living they keep hearing about can actually apply to their lives. It gives them an opportunity to no just take in about eco-friendly products, but to see for themselves that making the switch to a greener lifestyle isn’t as hard as they may have thought.

The giveaway of Way Basics eco-friendly, recycled paper furniture generated a LOT of interest, with readers coming up with great ideas that neither I nor Jimmy Chiang and the team at Way Basics would have ever come up with.   It wasn’t easy selecting a winner from among the more than 150 entries that we received.  We narrowed it down to a few, and in the end selected one entry that we think best uses the product.

I would love to use four of the Cube Plus (squared) in green and blue (I love how vibrant the colors are) and turn them on their sides to scheme a square and put a table top down by the top for a train table/craft table for my kids. It would have storage

and operate and be way greener (and cheaper!) than those pricey Thomas the Tank Engine ones! Thank you.

We were all impressed by the fact that Lori took her cue from a much more expensive product, soon after used that notion to create something that would fit both her needs and her budget.  that is a great way to illustrate the concept that Way Basics’ zBoards will allow you to create literally anything you can come up with — even whether that means duplicating something you saw at a pricey store and making it both green and affordable while you’re at it.
