So, many of us will be popping some champagne corks that evening to celebrate the arrival of 2009. whether you save the small wire contraption that holds the cork in, you can make a tiny chair out of it.

You don’t need any materials other than the cork holder and you can form an adorable tiny chair. Save lots of cork holders and compose lots of tiny chairs. They could manufacture cute ornaments, fairy furniture, dollhouse chairs or just a cute memento of the evening.

Lots of commenters on the Instructables site are looking for ideas on making a table to go with that. I think that one of the

cork holders on its own with a cute little upturn at the end of the leg would be perfect. Or what about the champagne cork itself whether the end was cut off so it sat level?

At the very least you can impress folks at the party tonight with your ingenuity. And whether you save the corks you can make a rare USB drive holder.
