Remember when Juicy tried to being back genie pants a few years ago? They had some gold-trimmed knee-length sweatpants that were very short lived as a fashion movement. Perhaps it didn’t really work considering whether you’re going to do funny pants, you need to be subtle about it. Which is why I love these organic adjustable pants from Gaia. Not only are they gold trim-free, but with a quick untying of the strings, they can turn into

regular pants again, which makes them perfect for doing yoga in my house, which is sometimes freezing and sometimes way too hot.

They are made from organic cotton that is locally sourced, so it’s light on the carbon footprint. And they construct a bunch of “convertible” clothing, which means you’re getting two outfits in one, and that much more bang for your buck.
