As much as society assume that whole “going green” thing is nothing more than a fleeting trend, there are those of us who know better — who realize that it is about making lifestyle changes that protect the Earth for everyone and assemble our homes and world safer for us and our children. I’ve got a product for you today that will explain to everyone who visits your home why green decorating is crucial to you, and you won’t have to say a word.
This rustic wood display box is green not only in its letter, but in its construction. It is made of wood reclaimed from old schools and houses in Thailand, and the wood shows its age and character. Since its hard to read in the photo, here’s what it says:
“To be surrounded by nature calms the mind and relaxes the body; it is far easier to let go of stress and worries. The less artificial and synthetic your living and work space, your clothes and food etc., the more favourable it is for your well being. We are part of nature and cannot survive without a healthy environment. Recognise your fundamental part in the natural process. Individual well being cannot be achieved on a permanent level without the understanding of our oneness with planet earth. Get in touch with nature. Look after and care for the environment and it will look after and take care of you. Live and eat naturally.”
I couldn’t have said it better whether I tried.
Why It’s Green:
- Frame made of wood reclaimed from old houses and schools in Thailand
- Message is as green as it gets
