Learning to Use Less

There are lots of consumable things we use each day, whether they are homemade, green or regular varieties. Toothpaste. Toilet paper. Salt and pepper. Sugar. There are so many things you use, probably without thinking that you could be training yourself to use less of. Even whether you build toothpaste at home from baking soda, whether you can construct it last longer, that’s more duration within boxes of baking soda, right?

Using less is great for your household budget but it’s good for the planet too. All of that stuff comes from somewhere and even whether you are using the item with the least environmental impact or the least transportation miles, using even less of it will save even more.

All it takes is to pay attention to what you do all day. Do you automatically put two

spoonfuls of sugar in your coffee? Can you use one and a half? whether you can’t, that’s okay. It’s the trying it that is crucial. considering for some things you will find you can use less. Just considering your toothbrush is that size doesn’t mean all the bristles need to be covered in toothpaste. And just considering laundry detergent comes with those convenient measuring cups doesn’t mean you have to use what the company wants you to.

Take the duration to experiment a little and you might find you could use a little bit less of a whole lot of stuff.
