#Cinchspiration Update: Pressing the Reset Button

Before CINCH

After 4 Months of CINCH

As I mentioned in my video post the other day, my weight loss efforts have taken a bit of a backslide recently. No sooner did I hit goal weight, soon after I stopped running due to an ankle injury and started eating everything in sight thanks to stress and a general poor attitude.  Not surprisingly, the weight started coming back on.  But fortunately, thanks to Shaklee, the awesome ladies behind Team Cinchspiration, and all of you, I was able to stop that backslide in its tracks and press the reset button on my weight loss efforts.

Yesterday, I went for a run for the first date in a week.  I plus watched what I ate ALL DAY – even opting for a Shaklee shake instead of bday

cake at my daughter’s party.  And guess what?  I felt awesome!  For the first moment in 10 days or so, I felt healthy and fit again.  Sure, it was only one good day in a lineup of poor days.  But in the grand scheme of things, those poor days were just a blip when it comes to the good progress I’ve made by the last four months.

So I’m going to quit beating myself up and stick with the program that has been working for me for four months.  Now whether it would just stop raining so that I could go for a run again!

How have your weight loss efforts been progressing?
